Revision Policy
Crossfire Graphics - Drawing Revisions Policy
At Crossfire Graphics, client satisfaction is our priority. To ensure clarity and fairness, this policy outlines how revisions to custom artwork are handled. Revisions are adjustments to artwork based on original requests provided by the client. Significant changes that deviate from the initial request will be considered new commissions and priced accordingly. Here’s how we structure our revision process:
Tier 1: Artist Error (No Charge)
If a revision is required due to an artist error (e.g., the client requested blue eyes, but the artwork has green eyes), no charge will be applied for the correction.
• These types of errors are corrected promptly and without cost to the client.
• I prefer communication via email to ensure original design details are clearly documented.
Tier 2: Minor Revisions Within the Original Request (Limited Free Revisions)
If a client decides to make adjustments that stay within the original design request, such as minor color changes, tweaks to details, or small pose adjustments, they are entitled to up to 2 free revisions.
After 2 revisions, additional changes will be charged as follows:
• 50% of the overall commission price per additional revision.
• These revisions must be based on the original concept provided by the client.
For example:
• If the original design requested a specific color scheme and the client later wants to adjust it slightly (but it remains within the original concept), this is a Tier 2 revision.
Tier 3: Major Changes or New Direction (New Commission Required)
If a client requests significant changes that alter the original concept or design direction (e.g., changing the character’s pose, background, or theme), these changes will be treated as a new commission.
• The new commission will be priced according to the updated design request.
• Any accumulated revision fees from the initial project will be added to the cost of the new order.
For example:
• If a client initially requested a character standing in front of a firetruck but later decides they want the character sitting on a bench with a completely different background, this is a new order.
Key Policy Notes:
• Revisions are only adjustments to the artwork based on the original request.
• Significant changes to the concept, theme, or pose will be considered a new order.
• Time spent on revisions is valuable, and fees reflect the time and energy invested.
Final Note:
All revisions are ultimately at the artist’s discretion. This ensures that the creative process remains efficient and respectful of the time and effort involved.
